Happy Sunday and almost half a year!! Can you believe we're already cruising through June!? 🤯

Let's catch up on what's been happening since our last email:

These past few weeks have been a wild ride, filled with twists and turns! We were super close to heading to Belize for an exciting gig, but the Cruise Ship for whom it was planned decided to pivot and focus on families at the last minute. Well, bugger! But no worries, we've made some amazing contacts, and we're actually excited to have our schedule cleared up a bit so we can get some structure back in this ship! Woo!

Australia, it's Milky Way season right now! The Milky Way, our galaxy, can be observed throughout the year. However, in Queensland, the core of the Milky Way is most visible from around April to September, with the peak months being May, June, and July (WE'RE IN THE PEAK NOW!). During this period, the Galactic Center of the Milky Way rises above the horizon in the southeast after sunset and remains visible throughout the night.

AND, there's a new moon TONIGHT - the 18th! So, providing it's a clear night where you are, it'll also be nice and dark, creating the perfect conditions for an incredible celestial show! Get ready to get your gaze on! 👀

What's caught our eye:

Shipwrecks.

Lately, we've been obsessed with Nat Geo's "Drain The Oceans!" Using the latest underwater scanning technology and computer graphics, marine archaeologists and treasure hunters go in search of sunken riches. It's absolutely amazing!!

The discoveries and insights they uncover are absolutely mind-blowing! We can't help but wonder what it would take to get our hands on one of those advanced underwater scanning technologies. Any takers for a group investment? 😆😉

Did you know that coral reefs are often referred to as the "rainforests of the sea"? These vibrant underwater ecosystems are teeming with life and play a vital role in maintaining marine biodiversity. Their stunning colors and intricate structures are a sight to behold, reminding us of the wonders of our planet's oceans.
